Rabotyaga is a mascot character for MKI_helper_bot — Telegram bot written by Redencon to assist student council with various organiztion work. Initially bot had mki red star icon with a dog icon inside. The idea was very simple — bot supports users with simple tasks, sometimes reduced to bring something from the other place to here. It seemed very logical for Rabotyaga to be a dog. The name was the direct reference to the chat with the most active members: Rabotyagi (which means Working People in Russian).
At one point, a bit after Olezha started drawing anthropomorphic animals full-time, Rabotyaga recieved a rework, making him the first official furry mascot for MKI tools. It was a bold move, but it showed treansition in functionality as well: from gathering stuff from one place to another, the bot progressed into an "office worker", who performs or supports in doing some basic repetitive work. As such, Rabotyaga is now most commonly seen in his Buiseness outfit doing what he does best: working.
